National park Paklenica

Velika (Big) Paklenica canyon is 14 km long and 500-800 m wide. In narrowest part is only 50 m wide. Steep cliffs rise up to over 700 m. The most attractive area is under Anica kuk, where steep cliffs rise directly forming the narrowest part of the canyon.

Mala (Small) Paklenica canyon is 12 km long and 400-500 wide, in narrowest part, it is only 10 m wide, and the surrounding cliffs rise up to 650 m. The highest area of Park is the narrow ridge of Velebit, 1-3 km wide, where is the highest peak of Velebit - Vaganski vrh (1.757m).

Hiking is the best way to get to know Paklenica, area contains 150-200 km of trails and paths. Park has 76 speleological objects, 37 caves and 39 pits. Longest cave is Vodarica (300 m). Mountain hut, 2h walk from Big Paklenica, has 50 beds in few rooms, dining and kitchen room.

Paklenica National Park is popular and visited climbing destination. The close proximity of Adriatic sea gives this climbing site a unique charm, enabling you to combine climbing, hiking with water sports and entertainment.

White beach - situated in Jadrija, only 3 miles away from the city's centre, the beautiful White beach is probably the most popular beach of Sibenik and its guests.

Awarded the Blue flag, this pebbled beach is well maintained and equiped. It is suitable both for children and adults, offering a number of activities at the sea as well as on the sand.

A part of the beach was adapted to meet the needs of people with disabilities.

Lolic beach, Pirovac - Pirovac is a small tourist resort near Sibenik. Lolic beach is awarded the Blue flag for tidiness and various tourist features, like facilities for people with disabilities.

This pebbled beach offers variety of activities at the sea. Whatever you choose to do in the sea, you will be safe under the watchful eye of the lifeguards.

Murter beaches - Murter is the island near Sibenik, connected with the mainland by bridge.

Slanica beach - in Murter is a sand and rocky beach, very interesting to picigin players. Picigin is the ball game that is played in a shallow. Favorable for children too, this beach offers lots of fun on a waterslide and trampoline. Tennis and volleyball fields are available too.
The beach offers the magnificent view of the Kornati archipelago.

Plitka Vala beach - is located near Betina, on Murter island. With its pebbled, sand and rocky sections, this beach will meet everyone's preferences.
