Due to extreme diversity of karst phenomena, numerous plant and animal species and the exquisite beauty of landscapes, the North Velebit area was 1999 established as a national park.
Hajducki kuk and Rozanski kuk are geomorphological reserves within the park. Lukina jama, the deepest Croatian pit, is only one of over 150 pits that are found here.

Tucepi Beach -
The longest beach of Makarska Riviera is spread all along the Tucepi coastline and is 2,5 miles long.
Beautiful pebbly beach surrounded by pine trees is favorable for families with children.
Enjoy the sun in your deckchair or have fun on a waterslide. Banana tubes, parasailing and trampoline at the sea are available too.
Nugal Beach Tucepi - If you want to merge with the pure nature without clothes to shackle you, the Nugal nude beach will meet your needs. Placed below the steep cliffs and hidden by thick pine forest, this beach will provide privacy and magical natural ambient.
Dracevac Beach -
The beach is located halfway between Tucepi and Podgora.
Take a walk along the coastline promenade to the south and find this beautiful sand beach.
Enjoy the sun or hide away under the pine trees. You can rent various equipment or take a ride in the popular banana tubes.
