Kamen Brela (Brela Rock) - an amazing small rock island with pine trees right in front of the main beach is, for sure, the most recognizable landmark of Brela.
This preserved monument of nature is constitutional part of beautiful sandy Punta Rata beach.

Vruja - a fabulous sight of the cliffs plunge into the sea from the height of some 100 metres. Vruja is actually a spring of drinking water that rises under the sea surface.
The site is a gathering place for large schools of fish and an astonishing locality for divers.

Pozjata Cave - a large cave with own spring of drinking water. In the old times, the cave was used to accommodate a dozen people or as a shelter for horses and cattle.

Zmajevaca Pit - arm yourself with the rope and lighting, and explore the impressive beauty of stalactites, walls and pillars covered with the crystalline calcium carbonate.

Presentation Centre Brela Gornja - the Centre is an unit of Biokovo Nature Park, and exhibits almost all geological and biological features of this area.
It is open for visitors from June to the end of September.

Suplja Stina (The Eye) - another natural breathtaking phenomenon. A masterpiece of nature, the cliff naturally formed in the shape of an eye. Favorite place for free climbers as well as for everyone who wants to experience the unforgettable view of Brela and surroundings.

Millennial Oak Tree - meet the oldest living inhabitant of the area and take a rest in its millennial shade. This fabulous monument of nature is waiting for you in Soline, Brela.

Nature Park Biokovo - beech and fir forests, Kotisina Botanical Garden, abundance of Mediterranean vegetation and reserve of black Dalmatian pine forests - the nature park will heal and refresh your spirit.





Beaches in Brela and around


Brela is a beautiful small seaside resort placed at the foot of magnificent Biokovo mountain on Makarska Riviera. A part of Brela borough is located within Biokovo Nature Park.

Gorgeous sand and pebbly beaches along with the clear blue sea, surrounded by verdant pine forests are only some of features that make Brela extremely attractive for tourists.

Punta Rata (Dugi Rat) - this gorgeous beach is awarded the Blue flag in the recognition of its cleanliness and tidiness. According to Forbes magazine, Punta Rata is among the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world.

The beach is pebbly but it becomes sandy as you step into the sea, which is especially favorable for children. Pine trees will protect you from the warm midday sun.

Berulija beach - awarded the Blue flag, a beautiful 400-metre long beach with three little basins to provide you a privacy.

Vrulja beach - a charming white pebble beach near Brela with the crystalline clear sea, surrounded by cliffs. A part of the beach is earmarked for nudists.
