The old town - enter the town through the Land Gate or through the Sea Gate and enjoy the view of impressive Gothic and Renaissance buildings, including churches and palaces. Delightful architecture with remarkable details represents the most recognizable artistic and cultural heritage of Korcula.
Bishop's Treasury of St. Marc - The Treasury preserves old paintings, sculptures, ecclesiastical vestments and silver and some written monuments.
The ground floor contains a lapidary and "The old kitchen". This interesting ambience exhibits pottery made of clay and ceramics, recovered from the wreck site of a Roman galley from the 1st century.
The art lovers will enjoy an impressive collection of paintings from the Renaissance and Baroque age, mostly works of renowned Italian masters. You can also see some masterpieces of the Croatian Modern art.
Festival of Sword Dance - The festival of old folk customs and dances takes places in July and August. The international Festival of Sword Dance hosts traditional sword dance groups from all over the world.
Korcula itself proudly maintains the five-century old tradition of Moreska, a sword dance originated from Spain. Moreska is kind of a dance drama representing the battle between the White and Black kings, along with their suites.
Beside dance performances, you can also see a parades of various international knights associations.
