" Very neat, well organised and clean. " 6.2

Very neat, well organised and clean. Staff was helpful, but this is really just a place that rents rooms rather then a hotel.

" Main reason I would not recommend this place are beds. " 4.7

Location was great. It's true that there are noisy bars right around the corner, but when we closed the windows and Turned on the AC, it was fine. The main reason I would not recommend this place are the beds. We asked for one big bed instead of two, and what we got was two double beds stacked side by side, but not padded, so you could not lie together in the middle.

" The hotel was very basic. " 4.2

Our flight arrived into Zadar early afternoon and we decided to stay one night rather than immediately moving on. We decided as we were only staying one night that we should stay in the old city rather than having to walk into it a lot. The hotel was very basic, very old decor and furniture but quite clean and fine for one night.

" Good location and a standard equal to the price." 6.1

Good location and a standard equal to the price. Shower did not work properly. We booked a double room but got two single beds.

" It's very basic, but you do get what you pay for. " 7.9

It's very basic, but you do get what you pay for, and the location really can't be beat. It's also quite clean! However, most of the other accommodation in the old town is hostels, so I think we really lucked out with Venera. I did notice a lot of noise at night, but not from the bars nearby, from the seagulls that screeched all night! The staff was friendly, and the owner had a darling tiny puppy who would greet you sometimes in the morning. I would stay here again - the city is so beautiful it really doesn't matter where you sleep, we were happy to go out and see it every day!

" The heating worked well. " 8

The heating worked well, there was a small desk, great Wi-Fi, hot shower and of course well located. Noise was not a problem for me but I could understand other people having issues. It was a bit difficult to find and the signage of the hotel was not obvious.

" The room was very small. " 6.2

The room was very small. Breakfast was not included, but there were plenty of places to go for breakfast nearby. The location was very good - within the old part of Zadar and very close to the waterfront.

" There was an all-night party on the streets. " 4.8

Knowing that the rooms were tiny and had no AC we booked one night at Hotel Venera because of the convenient price/location passing through Zadar. What we didn't know was that there was an all-night party on the streets in the neighborhood and practically in the ally outside the hotel.

" Location is great. " 6.8

Location is great, makes life very easy if you're flying into Zadar on the evening flights, as the bus drops you a 5-10 min walk away.
