Hotel Liburna reviews

The furniture and the bathroom fixtures are extremely dated. I also found that the beds were too soft and maybe this could be a problem for some. The location of the hotel is great.It is nearly impossible to get lost and not know how to get to the hotel as you venture on your own around Korcula.

Very clean but pink bathrooms does need renewing bath very pitted but as we only wanted a shower not a problem white plastic toiletseat. Usual standard hot drinks machine which you find in most hotels OK. No entertainment in hotel but we put that down to time of the year.

Unfortunately, our room was on the ground floor and would have faced the front access road, except that the balcony was below the level of the bank and hedge immediately outside, with unkempt lavender plants in the planters, so we had no view at all. The room itself was fine with plenty of space. Bath surface was pitted and worn with ancient shower, but no curtain or screen.

Rooms: generally great view of Korcula old city. Reasonable size with plenty of hot water & clean bedding. Facilities: bar, book swap, pool tables, small but pleasant swimming pool. Food: basic school canteen style!!! Very repetitive dishes.

Had a sea room with gorgeous views over the bay and Korcula Town. Rooms clean and spacious, mini bar reasonably priced. Five minute walk to the town, plenty of bars and cafes if you prefer to eat out. Swimming pool facilities very basic, however you can use the pool at the sister hotel Marco Polo for free.

It’s a great base (only five minutes’ walk from the old town) with gorgeous views. If you don’t really care if you are on Korcula and are interested in a fancy hotel, stay elsewhere because decor wise this place is stuck in the 70’s.

Good selection of food, staff nice, room’s dark and dated but cleaners do their best. Great location!! We had a car park view not very good.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and always said hello. Whilst the decor is dated, the hotel is clean; the food was great for families, as there was always a varied selection. It was close to the public beach. We would definitely go back, our kids loved it!

Our two-story loft-style room had two balconies, one on each floor, facing opposite directions. The view of the old town and the harbour was very beautiful! The room is cooled not by air conditioning, but by the natural breeze.
