Old fashion beach hotel, renovated. Very good restaurant. Far from the old town and major attractions.

The hotel room was clean. The hotel staff was rather unhelpful and would not accommodate a change of room. It was very loud at night. I would not recommend this hotel.

Location of the bus stop to the old city is 2 minutes walking. A very good spa at the hotel nearby. The free WIFI requires you certain things all the time that you need to do over and over. The price is a little too high for what you get.

Good location, near enough to beach. Accommodation was clean and well maintained. Staff was helpful and friendly. There is also a good selection of restaurants close to the hotel as we stayed on a B&B at the hotel. Dubrovnik in your pocket is a must guide for all things to do while in the area and readily available in the Hotel. The bar at the hotel closed at 11.30 pm each night which was a bit early for a European holiday destination! Entertainment also finished at 11pm.

We liked the location, close by a picturesque beach, but still within easy access by bus to the Old City of Dubrovnik. The evening meal, served in the downstairs restaurant, was very good and great value. We felt sorry for the miserable looking stray cats living at the back of the restaurant.

The rooms were a great. The breakfast and staff were great. The pool was brilliant. The facility was like a concrete jungle. Lacked color.

I like very much everyone that works for you, I left my suitcase in the lobby for a moment and somebody stole it. So thanks to your camera we knew who was! Thank you and all your people working there! Is too far to the beach and no view.

Breakfast was excellent; fridge in room can be used for milk etc although it is initially a sealed drinks-bar. Location and child friendly parklands away from traffic and peaceful. Private pebble beach facility at the 5 star Valamar President by arrangement with reception. Buses to Pile Gate old city every 10 min., recommend walk through park to President bus stop. Croatia Riviera is spotlessly clean and the people so polite and friendly. The Tirena does not reflect the luxury of the other local 4 and 5 star Valamar hotels, but then neither does the price. Be very wary of other recommended restaurants, some are exorbitantly expensive.

Good location with easy access to Old Town. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent buffet breakfast. No lift down to dining rooms.
