The balcony was overlooking the sea as well as the walled city. It was great! The room clean and nice. The hotel staff was very friendly, especially at the breakfast buffet which was by the side really delicious and with various foods. Simply stunning hotel!

My general feeling about the hotel was great. I highly recommend this hotel. The location is great. The hotel staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet delicious. The room in that we stayed could have been a bit more spacious for the money we paid for it.

This hotel truly exceeds our expectations! It deserves every of its 5 stars. As we arrived we were upgraded to a patio suite that was incredible. I have and will continue to recommend this hotel to family and friends.

We stayed in the old part of the hotel which is amazing. The staff is friendly and the location is wonderful. But the new part of the hotel with contemporary architecture seems only like a good level business hotel.

Good location beautifully situated at the seafront. The vicinity to the old tow, only 5 min walk distance is also nice. Staff extremely friendly, courteous, and efficient. The room was always clean, we loved it. Delicious breakfast in super surrounding overlooking the sea. Also a very good spa and wellness area with swimming pool, sauna etc and a small neat gym. Absolutely nothing not to like.

You need just 5 minutes to reach the old town. We liked that very much. The hotels private beach was wonderful. The restaurant overlooks the Dubrovnik old town and the sea. We will definitely come back.

We stayed in a room with sea view that had fantastic views over the Adriatic and Dubrovnik old town. Everything nice, a real classy hotel. It was quite pricey, but worth it for a treat.

The hotel staff was excellent; they were all the time really helpful and friendly. Every arrangement we asked was very properly done by the concierge. And the best part we were quiet surprised and happy that staff gave us sets of breakfast even though we left there at 5:30 to the airport.

Well-located, really near to the Old Town of Dubrovnik; Sumptuous breakfast and warm, helpful service. Nice pool area with Jacuzzi for relaxing. The next time I will be in Dubrovnik I will definitely request for a room with sea view in the old part of the hotel. The new part is more like a business hotel with its atmosphere and look. The Excelsior remains my hotel of choice if/when I visit Dubrovnik next time.
