Hotel Dubrovnik reviews

It was one of our best holidays. Fantastic service with friendly staff. It takes only ten minutes bus ride away from the old town and the beach is only a five minute walk away. We took the buffet breakfast in the restaurant which was well stocked with a wide range of the usual offerings.

Clean, fair-priced and with the best breakfast (complimentary, no less) that we found in Croatia! It is located in Lapad on a great street with lots of food and shops- don't miss the gelato! The tours were cheaper than from other locations and we were impressed with our guides and the buses. We recommend this spot whole-heartedly!

Good location (near seaside and easy access to old city), clean, powerful hot shower, and the best service ever (all the staff are very friendly and helpful)!!! Will certainly go back to stay in this hotel again!

We booked Dubrovnik for the trip and picked the Hotel Dubrovnik which seemed ok. We mentioned that we had a car, and they suggested where to park it, which was near to the hotel “Free of Charge”, which was good of them, as we had heard parking can be quite expensive.

I personally found the staff to be helpful and pleasant they made me feel welcome. What really let's this hotel down is the condition and cleanliness of the rooms. The biggest disappointment was the bathroom, which was very unclean and had mould covering the walls of the shower, nothing that a good scrub and a bit of elbow grease wouldn't remove shame they don't bother.

No serviettes, very poor. Didn't stay here, just ate in restaurant. It was a Sunday and quite busy but even so. It is a nice location; we stayed nearby and liked the area.

The hotel is getting run down, they don’t bother fixing anything, had the breakfast one of the days. Good restaurants and it feels very safe, would recommend the area to all my friends, the hotel is not the worst i stayed in and the staff is friendly.

We sat down in the restaurant of this hotel and we waited for about 5 minutes until we received the menu from one of the waiter. Again, no attention was paid to us. So we decided to leave since the waiter came by quit often at our table and did not care to take our order. The food was quite expensive and it didn't look to be sufficient food on the plate (side orders come literally by side).

No shower curtain. The bathroom light was a bulb hanging off exposed cables; clearly the bathroom is a work in progress. The air con did work and was effective. The entrance light didn't work and the hair dryer stopped working although they did give us a hand held one. Everything seemed a little unloved and broken or maybe just waiting for the season to end for it all to be fixed.
