Hiking - the best way to experience the island is hiking. Get a map and take a walk through beautiful landscapes - enjoy the view of lavender fields, olive plantations and fruitful vineyards descending to the sea. Hide away from the midday sun walking through the pine forests or follow the old shepherd's paths and hidden trails, or join some of organized walking tours.
Biking - hiring a bike will enable you to circle the intire Hvar island. Whether you have decided to hit the paths along the coast or to visit the inner part of the island, you will be amazed by landscape diversity.
Climbing -
because of its rock reliefs, Hvar Island is a great destination for climbers. There are several locations advisable for climbing but probably the most popular is Sveta Nedjelja.
