Hotel Trogir Palace reviews

The hotel was full when we checked in, so we were upgraded to a better room for the same price. The staff was friendly and more than willing to accommodate requests outside of their standard services.

We were upgraded into palatial suite of rooms with balcony and magnificent views over harbor. We liked being able to easily walk into the old city. The orange juice for breakfast was not fresh and diluted.

Short walk across the bridge to the walled city of Trogir. Very nice place to stay if you want to be out of the hustle and bustle of the historical centre. No complaints at all.

We loved the balcony opening onto the medieval city, the completely room darkening blinds and the overall cleanliness and quiet. Staff also pleasant and helpful. Although they could not give us a kettle in the room, there was no problem getting hot water from the kitchen whenever we wanted.

Nice view over the harbor and old town, approx. 5 min walk distance to old town city center. Advisable both for business and holiday travels. Landing planes are little noisy, but luckily traffic is limited.

We were very fortunate to have first use of a luxury apartment at no extra cost as all the other rooms were full. Even a sauna and spa bath in the bathroom! Great view of the old town which is also one of the best. Lots of places to eat within easy walking. Split airport very close but not intrusive. Cooked breakfasts are rather soggy but there's plenty of other fresh choices so no complaints really.

Brilliant location, walking distance from delightful old town of Trogir. Ferry service to Split departs from practically outside the hotel. Our "superior double" had a large separate living room, huge bedroom and balcony with wonderful views over the marina to Trogir. Car parking at hotel is free. Much of the hotel is actually private apartments and the whole place is furnished to a very high standard - marble staircase, real wooden floors, white leather sofa in living room etc.

The section of the hotel in which I stayed was new and very clean. I asked to book a taxi to take us to the airport. When we arrived at reception they had arranged a hotel car to take us instead. I asked if their car was more expensive and they said no. When I checked at the airport, the taxi would have been quite a bit cheaper.

First impression of the hotel was good because the hotel was clean and modern. One minus is that the breakfast food could have been heated up because the food was cold.
