We stayed in a one bedroom apartment (bring your own toiletries if staying in an apartment vs. a hotel room). It is a 50 minute ferry ride from the Split mainland. One may cheaply rent a moped or car and see the island, including Bol, which has Zlatni Rat beach, considered to be a top 10 most beautiful beaches in the world.

The room was clean and the service in general was great. I had nice partial sea views and the building was quiet. Food and drinks were good and varied. We didn't use the all-inclusive facilities much, but the packed lunch was decent.

As we were exchanging a Timeshare week, we were first of all shown one or two apartments with not very attractive views before being offered a ground level apartment overlooking the park and sea. The modest apartment was very quiet and clean, with a small balcony where we had breakfast.

The sleeping sofa was like sleeping on rock, but I have slept in worse beds in South East Asia. On the balcony we had breakfast every morning, and it was a good way to start the days. Eat local, use your money local, drink local, and stay away from all inclusive.

The in-house entertainers were always around with their idiotic "crazy games" or one or the other daft dance routine, but the place would definitely be better off without them. The charges for wifi were outrageous and we had no intentions of paying. Very, very poor decision demonstrating the intention of milking the guests for all the money possible.

We were told that we would have to stay with other family members in their rooms the first night and then check back with the reception after breakfast the next day. We managed to arrange this but got another shock the next day when we were handed a tiny, warn hotel room, having paid extra for a renovated apartment. While the rest of our family members were situated in one building we were placed somewhere else on the resort.

They do most things very well. I'm impressed by the staff, they are always smiling and friendly which, to be honest, is not always the case in Croatia. We did not have any meals at the hotel so cannot comment on that.

The best in the hotel is definitely their staff. They are kind, very service minded and they will do everything to fulfill any of your needs. The food was very good and with enough options for all tastes. The drinks are ok, for the young guests is a great idea to start at the hotel until 12 and then go to the city.

This is a large resort hotel which was very quiet while we were there. The outdoor pool is a good size and the area around it is very good with plenty of sunbeds. Meals were buffet style and food was good.
