Mestrovic Gallery - The Gallery is placed in a palace designed by the artist himself. It collects and presents the museum material related to the life and works of this famous Croatian sculptor, including sculptures, drawings, oil paintings, as well as his personal documents.

Art Gallery Split - The impressive permanent collection exhibits the works of famous Croatian and international artists, including the works of Durer, Bukovac or Schiele. Beside the permanent exhibition, the gallery organizes numerous exhibitions of contemporary Croatian arts.

Croatian National Theatre - The Theatre was founded in 1893 and is housed in a representative building on Gajo Bulat Square. It helds around 300 performances yearly.

Days of Marulic - The cultural celebration held in the Croatian National Theatre celebrates the life and works of the famous Croatian playwright, Marko Marulic. It takes place usually on April 22nd, in memory of the day when Marulic completed his most-known epic Judita, in 1501.

St. Domnius Day - If you find yourself in Split on May 7th, join the folk celebration of the patron saint of the city, St. Domnius. Beside the large procession, the celebration includes many other activities, like games, tasting a local specialities and various attractions for children.
The perfect way to meet the local folklore and customs.

Days of Diocletian - a few days in August whole Split holds its breath and returns to the 4th century to greet its most known citizen. The old Romans, including Diocletian and his wife Priska, will suddenly enliven again. Leave your kids in the old Roman kindergarden and enjoy gladiator fights or pirate show in the bay. The gracious emperor invites you all to his cellars to taste his favorite dishes, to experience the real Roman feast, at least for once in your lifetime.

Split Summer Festival - The traditional Split festival takes place from mid July to mid August. Between the faboluos opening and closing ceremonies, numerous plays, concerts and ballet performances take place in various sites throughout the town. Enjoy a play in magical ambience of Diocletian's Cellars or take seat under the starry sky and listen concert of classical music.

Split Film Festival - The International Festival of New Film presents new, radical and even subversive film works of all genres and themes. It takes place in September and usually lasts for a week. Beside displaying the selected movies, the festival features different performances, Internet projects, film workshops and retrospectives of Croatian and international filmmakers.

International Flower Fair - The Fair attracts florists from all over the world to compete in different categories. Vivid flower displays are exhibited inside the shaded hallways of the Ancient Diocletian's Cellars. Don't miss this celebration of spring colours and fragrances in May.
