Hotel Meteor reviews

This hotel is built and organized for groups going all together swimming, dining and whatever. The good thing is the perfect location near sea and harbor, beautiful views and lot's of restaurant nearby.

The rooms were clean and bright of a reasonable size and standard plenty of hanging space in wardrobe. Views incredible we could hear the waves on the beach from our room. The resort is breathtaking situated between the mountains and the sea. Went to Split and Trogir. Entertainment in the evening was outside always different people on a weekly basis the brass band were particularly good, never heard the trumpet played so well.

Although we couldn't fault the hotel itself, it was very spacious, well decorated, the rooms were perfectly adequate with everything you need. The food was not very good. The serving stations are badly laid out which meant we were queuing quite a lot and when we did eventually get our food it was more often than not cold. Makarska is a beautiful place to stay.

The location was great and in a walking distance from everywhere. The breakfast was great and plenty and the breakfast area were just right. We couldn't enjoy all the services in the hotel because the week was so short and Makarska was so great and charming!

This hotel has a perfect location in which you are on the promenade that goes for close to 2 miles where all of the restaurants and vendors are set up with great views of the ocean while you eat. We had free parking across the street from the hotel. The rooms and the hotel were very clean though and the breakfast was very good. Markaska is a must see if you are touring around Croatia.

The hotel Meteor is average with a help yourself service but Croatia is a fantastic place to holiday. The ferry trip to Sumartin is excellent and good value with plenty of nice walks.

The hotel is very clean and efficient. Some rooms are more modern than others but the small basic room we stayed in had all the mod cons and a very clean modern bathroom. The staff was pleasant but some need to smile more. The gym was great with water and showers. The range of food was very limited at breakfast and dinner.

The Hotel Meteor is a nice hotel in lovely Makarska. There is no hotel garden as such but a nice salt water pool with sufficient outdoor seating. The hotel is 8 stories and made up on an East and West wing. It is well located right on the promenade and beach and a 15 minute level walk to harbor. The room was OK but quite small and the bed was comfortable.

There is a huge choice of restaurants within easy walking distance. The hotel was very suitable for my lightweight mobility scooter with a lift to access all areas except the outdoor swimming pool. The access to the indoor pool was fine though.
